SUMMARY:Columbia: The Underground Railroad beyond the Susquehanna River Van Tour.
DESCRIPTION:Travel by guided van tour as you follow the path of freedom seekers after crossing the Susquehanna River\, visiting key locations in Marietta\, and East and West Donegal Townships. \nThese tours are presented by the African American Historical Society of South Central Pennsylvania. They work ​to preserve\, interpret\, and share the history and lived experiences of African Americans in South Central Pennsylvania through research\, education\, and community engagement. \nAccessibility & Participation Note: \nPlease note that the tour vehicle is not ADA accessible. Guests must be able to independently step up into and out of the van. For safety reasons\, we are unable to accommodate infant car seats or booster seats on this tour. All passengers should be able to ride using standard vehicle seating without additional equipment \nHosted by African American Historical Society of South Central Pennsylvania.  Tour guide is Daniel Ness.  Tickets are $10 – $17 and are available at riverfestpa.com and aahsscpa.or
