SUMMARY:Kennett Square: Underground Railroad Heritage Bus Tour
DESCRIPTION:Our popular\, family-friendly bus tours are led by a knowledgeable local guide.  You will visit documented Underground Railroad sites\, historic homes and Quaker Meetinghouses while learning about local abolitionists and anti-slavery activity in the Kennett Square area.  The tour also presents the contributions of local African Americans and their faith communities in the quest for freedom from slavery \n Tours will depart from the Kennett Heritage Center\, 120 N. Union Street\, Kennett Square\, PA.  The tours last approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.  The cost of the tour is $30.00 per person. Tickets for children under 14 are $15.00.   \nParking:  You may use the parking garage which is across the street from the Kennett Heritage Center for the small fee of $2.00 for the first hour and $1.00 for each hour thereafter.  Please Do Not park behind the Kennett Heritage Center as those spots are reserved for the rented  apartments in the building. \n​ \nWe look forward to showing you the area and sharing our stories of abolitionists and freedom seekers!

DESCRIPTION:  \nTwilight Cemetery Tour- Oct. 24\, 2026\, 4:00pm Follow our guides as you explore the Blairsville Cemetery\, learn about headstone symbolism\, and meet figures from the Underground Railroad & prominent citizens from the past. Space and tickets are limited. Tours depart every 10 minutes from the Blairsville Cemetery office (white building at the top of the hill) \nAdvance ticket holders are guaranteed tours. If available\, tickets may be sold the day of the event All same-day ticket holders will join tours on a first-come\, first-served basis. \nChildren under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult. In case of heavy rain or dangerous storms\, we have digital tour prepared and our characters will appear with our tour in the armory\, 119 N. Walnut St.\, Blairsville.
