On Saturday, October 18, LancasterHistory welcomes author Darlene Colón for a reading and signing of her new book From the Heart of Lydia, written with Pam Lazos and Terry Webb. Composed for a young adult audience, From the Heart of Lydia is a fictional imagining of the childhood of the real Lydia Hamilton Smith.
