The Underground Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania was established in 2023 to create leading-edge museum attraction to interpret and celebrate the people of conscience and courage who came to Pennsylvania seeking freedom from slavery and the Pennsylvanians who—filled with similar fortitude—risked so much to shelter, support and advance them to their goal. The museum is targeting 2028 for its public opening and operates under The Underground Railroad Center of Columbia Pennsylvania, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All donations are tax deductible.
