Living the Experience is a spiritual, interactive reenactment of the Underground railroad. Patrons get a chance to step inside the shoes of Africans seeking their freedom in the 1800’s in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The production is the first Underground Railroad reenactment in Central Pennsylvania and has been sharing the story for 27 years. Each includes our reenactment, a southern style meal and access to local vendors on site.
At our October 4th production you will also get a chance to meet award winning storyteller and former Jeopardy! cast member, Cheryl Farrell. She will be explaining how the Historical Bethel A.M.E. Church was featured on the popular game show and the importance of storytelling in the African heritage.
